Principles

This site collects the minimum data necessary. No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Audience statistics

I use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it does not set any cookies and does not collect data that would allow you to be identified (IP addresses are anonymised). These aggregated statistics are used solely to understand how the site is used. Umami is provided by Umami Cloud, hosted in the European Union.

Contact form

When you write to me via the form, the data you submit (name, email address, message) is processed by Basin and then forwarded to me by email. It is used exclusively to handle your request. As Basin is hosted in the United States, this data is subject to an international transfer, covered by the provider’s contractual safeguards.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a data centre located in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).

Legal basis and retention

Processing is based on your consent and on my legitimate interest in responding to your requests. Messages received are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, and object to its processing. Please send your request via the contact form.
